I'm On Call

From today until Monday evening I will be on call with the Center for Women and Children in Crisis and hope there will be no victims of sexual assault.

Boys, no means no!
Girls, don't get drunk at a party and don't leave your water bottle unnatended.

Break The Silence!

Yesterday I went to the 4th Annual 5k Run Against Abuse and Pornography hosted by The Women Services and Resources Center at BYU.

I volunteered to represent the Center for Women and Children in Crisis and brought material for a booth. Amy, another volunteer at the center, came to be at the booth as well. It was a good opportunity to explain to people what we do and ask if they would like to volunteer.

We got one person to sign up to receive more information and hopefully be a part of our team, so that's really exciting :)

Here is a picture of me and Amy. Her mother happens to be from São Paulo and met her dad at their mission in Portugal. Small world... :)
