In my previous ward I had the blessing to be visit taught by this cute young lady, Rachel!
Her husband has served a LDS Mission in Brazil, so Rachel asked me if I could help her with her Portuguese and we have been meeting regularly ever since. We have both moved out of that ward last year but we get together on Wednesdays during the American Idol season; we watch the idols sing and we practice Portuguese during the commercial breaks. Spending time with Rachel is one of the highlights of my week, she's such a good example to me and I adoooore her little baby girl, especially when she is wrapped up like a little lava before going night night!
Anyway, on Wednesday Rachel told me that some girls from our previous ward were getting together yesterday for a Girls' Night Out and she wanted me to come too. HECK YEAH!
We went to ZUPAS, a Greek themed fast paced restaurant that serves some of the best salads, soups and sandwiches in town!
Girls, It was soooooooooooo awesome to see you again! I miss that ward so much! Trevor and I are looking for apartments in that area and I hope we find one! It'll be awesome to be back and hang out with these beautiful women more often! :)

The food was yummie, the foundue was a temptation and the company was unforgetable!
I look foward to the next Girls Night Out!
PS - Funny fact: out of our group yesterday I am the oldest one and yet the only one that doesn't have children or isn't pregnant. C'mon Trevor, I gotta keep up with the girls, man! :) :) :)

Hi Kika,
This is Ellie and I saw the message you left on my blog. I loved your blog, and it is so much fun to realize that there are so many Brazilian girls that live here in Utah.
I loved your idea of getting together, I live about 20 minutes away from Provo. I don't drive to Utah County much, but there is a Brazil Brasil in Orem that I've been meaning to try...
Talk to you later.
hey you! yay for blogging and finding old friends :) looks like you guys had a fun girl's night. wish i was there to share in the partying! i'm excited to keep in touch and see glimpses into your life!
I LOVE Zupas! My favorite panini there is the one with avacado and turkey. YUM!! (I might have to go there tomorrow for lunch now)
