I miss it. I love studying, reading, writing, producing, being involved in any and everything that has to do with theatre. Plays, costumes, make-up, light and costume and scene design... love and miss it. My mom tells me that as soon as I could walk I would grab the weirdest props and walk around the house imitating some character from whatever soapopera was on tv at the time. My brother used to call me "crazy" because I seemed to be in my imagination world 24/7. And I know that EVERY child plays like that but for me, it was more than playing... it was a passion. And I miss being involved in my passion...
I put together this collage with pictures from my graduate studies in Theatre for Young Audiences at BYU. There are pictures of me and my students, me grading papers, me in puppetry class, me with the students from my first year, me being a stage manager, me winning a certificate for Outstanding Graduate Student in Theatre for Young Audiences.
That will forever be in my memory, but I don't feel outstanding anymore... Feel kinda empty... But one day, who knows, I'll go back to doing what I really *love* instead of what I just have to do... One day, right?
