I Am Grateful For - Day 30

Hot water in the winter time!

There was NO hot water this morning, what's up with that?!?!?! So, it made me VERY grateful of this luxury or ours.

All in all, there are so many other things to be grateful for! My life, my families, my freedoms, my brain, my job, my friends, my talents, my dreams... so many things!

But here comes December, lets not take the Christ out of Christmas :)

I Am Grateful For - Day 29
Holiday Weekends!

I did a lot, A LOT, of sleeping this holiday weekend! I needed that, and I love to sleep, so the more the better :) I feel so rested now!!! Yay!

Hot water and INDOOR plumbing! I'm so grateful I wasn't a pioneer!

I have never been as thankful for hot water as I was in Curitiba. It got cold when I was in Vila Sao Pedro, and the chuveira sucked. It barely heated the water at all. It was torture to take a shower. Sister Probo thought it felt warm, but it wasn't! We also only had one "manto" per person in that apartment. I didn't know any better. I didn't know that chuveiras were supposed to work better than that.
Then I got transferred to Araucaria with you. There were huge, thick blankets, and I literally cried with joy and relief when I turned on the chuveira the first time and the water was so hot it nearly burned me. I loved Araucaria (except for the gun incident...) It was so fun with you and SUD!
