David, Sarah and baby Alexander. I met them when I first got here and started doing capoeira, I would tag along with them every weekend to clubs and parties and had a LOT of fun! They are so great, honest and amazing friends! Even though we don't see each other often I feel that our friendship is one of those true ones, that stands the tests of time and distance.
Mago, along with Marco Greis (Trevor's partner) pretty much started capoeira in Utah, at BYU. Six years ago Mago (who's real name is Aaron, Mago is his capoeira name) and his wife moved to Colorado and also runs a capoeira school there. Trevor and Marco recently went to Colorado for one of Mago's events and now Mago came for the local event here. He is a lot of fun and I miss his wife (she couldn't come this time) - she is beautiful and an inspiration to female capoeira players.
And these are some of our capoeira students. I used to help teach the children and am SO PROUD of them each time I see them play! The Provo Capoeira School started in 2005 and it's amazing to see the progress that all the students have made. So fun to watch!
Something fun that happened this week was the last Mom's Night Out of 2008! I was the host this time and we went to Guru's... yummie! Here we are in the middle of good eating and great conversations:
And even though I KNOW it's annoying and dangerous and frustrating to drive in the snow and to have to clean cars and all that... can you deny that it's BEAUTIFUL to see a white world around you? I simply LOVE snow!!! :) Here I am yesterday coming from my friend Emily's baby shower in Spanish Fork. It was gorgeous outside!
Did you have a great weekend too? I sure hope so! :)

Forget the fact that I look hideous in this pic. It's gotta be the lack of lipgloss...
