Better Late Than Never.. right?

So on Sunday April 13 it was Trevor's birthday!

The big 24!

That's not a good number in Brazil, and I don't know why, but here it's no big deal so he is proud to be 24 now :)

In capoeira it is tradition to have a birthday roda, which is when the birthday person has to play EVERYBODY in the roda (circle), one by one, non-stop.

Let me tell you... that's quite exhausting! But of course my superman hubby did a great job!

This is what we call ginga, every other move in capoeira comes from this one.

Yes, he has his legs up on this one but, don't worry, he totally knows what he's doing!

On Friday April 11 we had a little bday party for Trevor at our friends Desiree and Marco's house in Orem. It was more fun than expected and here are some of Trevor's friends who were able to come:

On Monday we celebrated again with his parents at Tucanos and at night we had bday cake with his family cuz it's his mom's bday on the 14th.

Needles to say, I am DONE celebrating this bday, people! hee hee
