Yes, Trevor and I were so sure we were having a BOY!!
We felt it, I knew it was a boy, I already have boy stuff. Then, most people kept teasing us saying things like "if you 'feel' it's a boy, it's probably a girl!"
I thought they were being silly, but they were actually... RIGHT!!

I do have a little problem though...
I am not a fan of pink, or purple, or flowerly or girly stuff... at. all.
What do I do now?!?!
I do love red, it's my FAVORITE color, and it's a girly color, right? I hope so! In the meantime, and not wanting to sound pretentious, if you were planning on sharing your pinkness and/or purply stuff with me, can you give me time to adjust? Does that make sense?? I don't want to be rude to ANY of my friends and/or family but if you know me... you KNOW that I am a tomboy at heart, I will just need to get used to the idea of a barbie world :)
ok I need to sleep! Baby has been so active since the ultrasound, I don't think she liked the dude poking her around and now *III* am paying for it!! but it's cute anyway , hee hee hee

Oh yeah! Congrats!! Girls really are a lot of fun, and don't worry, I'm sure you'll adjust to the idea of girly stuff. ;) I had a friend just like you who had a girl 1st and she wasn't into the whole pink and purple thing but she got used to it. And even if you don't, I do think red is super cute!
Wahoo! I wasn't into the girly stuff until I had two boys. Now I'm dying for some pink! I'm still not into frilly, though.
My SIL isn't into pink and frilly, and I can't believe that she finds all sorts of little girl stuff in black and red and burgundy. Which looks really great on my niece (she has black hair and dark eyes). So you can definitely find cute girl stuff without all the lace and bows, and still have your daughter (oh my gosh!) be adorable.
congratulations! It is so fun having a girl. I am really not into pinks and stuff either... The hard part is it is really hard to find anything in the stores that isn't pinks and purples, etc. And when you do it's usually expensive.
Ai gente que linda!!!! Deu pra ver mto perfeito! Olha, a Jasmine tem vaaarias coisas cor de rosa mas eu amooooo quando ela usa vermelho, eh a cor que eu acho que ela fica mais linda usando. Mas aos poucos vc se adapta, vc vai ver...Nunca brincou de boneca?? Entao se prepare pq vc vai ter que brincar hehehe...Mas eh mto gostoso!!!!

Kika, nao eh por nada nao mas... I can already tell she's going to be one gorgeous baby girl!!! Olha soh para os labios de boneca e o narizinho delicado!!! Sinceramente, eu acho meio scary-looking esses ultrasounds, mas tua baby girl saiu foi muito linda aih, adorei mesmo!! Estou super ansiosa para ver essa bonequinha linda!!! E eu acho que vc vai se acostumar com a ideia feminina, alias tens bastante tempo para se adaptar neh? Rapaiz, alias, tua family faz babies bonitos porque teu sobrinho estah ficando cada vez mais lindo, neh? Eu achei ele fofo demais nas fotos.... Mas o mais importante eh que ela venha com saude e traga muitas felicidades para voces dois!!

So you CAVED and went to Fetal Photos?? :) hehe... she is VERY cute--looks like YOU minha filha!!! Don't worry...hey, my crib stuff is black, ivory, and red...I'm not going w/ the norm either!! And yes, I've gotten a lot of "pink and brown" stuff, but there are cute little not-so-frilly things out there--don't worry, I'll get you something you'll LOVE!!
aeee uma pretendente para o Thomas!!! E eu tb nem sou mto fan de rosa e roxo e florsinha e tal... quando nao sabia o que o Thomas era, eu ficava procurando bedding de menina, e achei um no target LINDO! Era vermelho e amarelinho (amarelo pra bebe menina fica lindo tb), da uma olhadinha lá no site do Target, tem umas coisinhas bem fofas que nao sao mto girly girly pink pink!

That is an amazing ultrasound picture! You'll be surprised how many clothes are out there that aren't pink or purple (I abhor purple) or frilly. In fact, my mom just sent me the most adorable outfit that is mint green and brown. It was great to see you again tonight - you look fabulous!

You don't need to love pink just because you are having a girl, you can use yellow, red or even blue and green! :)
I haven't had time to see your blog so I'm cathing up now. I'm so happy and excited for you. I have to boys and believe me, I'm sure girls are fun! There is so much stuff out there for girls. I'm not girly and I don't like pink or purple either. Baby Gap has the cutest clothing for girls in browns, red, etc... start looking now and you get a bunch of stuff on sale. So exciting!!!
