Bellylicious

Please disregard my swollen face!

Here I am today at the gardens at work. I love that it's all white all around!
I am starting to feel big. Nevermind the peeing seven times a night, ladies, now my wedding ring feels tight and THAT sucks!

Any advice on what kept you from swelling during your pregnancies? And how are you all liking all this snow?

Hmm, well, I didn't swell until after I gave birth. Then my feet and hands started swelling like balloons. It was so strange. The best thing I found was to keep off my feet and watch my salt intake. I had to go get my rings sized a few months ago - I had to suck it up and come to terms with my hands never going back to their very dainty size (my rings were 4 3/4 and now they're a 6). I pray that doesn't happen to you :)

elevate your feet every night. Just lay on the floor and put your legs on the couch while watching TV. It does help, but some people just retain water or swell and some people don't. You'll lose it after the baby though, so that's a plus!

you look adorable.
I was very swollen with Q, but not at all with Maiya. But I did prop my feet up, my feet and ankles would get so swollen, and that would help.

I went to the silver kiosk at the mall and bought a fake wedding ring :) It is waiting in the jewelry box until I need it again.
I don't think there's that much you can do, except watch sodium. Ask your doctor at the next appointment. I never really had to worry about it, but my face did look kind of fat at the end. It really does go away while you're in the hospital, but until you have the baby, it just makes you think you're FAT. You're not. Just don't get any portraits taken :)
Come to think of it, SIL's face didn't shrink again for a few weeks, which I remember because I took her portraits :)

Oh my goodness--you with a GUN, i am scared! hahaha. You look beautiful, and the swelling and weight will go away in 66 days when you have your little bebezinha! Love ya! Loved your Christmas card, I didn't do one this year and I was okay with that! People can go to my blog right???

primeiramente FELIZ 2009!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Segundamente (hehehe), eu odeio olhar fotos de gravida e ver minha cara redonda, nao tinha a minima nocao, mas amava a minha barriga....agora to no weight watchers e to amando menina....i'm going to shed 30 pounds e ver where that takes me e ai se eu precisar mais 30 dps disso, mas como nunca fui magra nao sei o q vai ficar bom pra mim neh???mas isso ai e beyond the point.
Babi
PS: me sinto meio criancinha ainda com a franja mas to acostumando....hehehehehe

Yeah, mostly stay off your feet as much as possible and drink lots of water...but really, there isn't much you can do about it! )c: But You still look great! I would have my own zip code by that point in my pregnancies...(c: Yeah, with Caden I had to wear a fake wedding ring until my fingers stopped looking like sausages...

I'm embarassed I emailed you and told you to post a pregnancy picture without checking your blog. Well, you look cute. I didn't notice your swollen face. Mine always gets chunky too. And everything else. My wedding ring comes off before the 2nd trimester, that's for sure. You made it pretty far. And you're almost done! Can't wait to see your brown curly haired little girl! (And I do love brown hair. I sike myself out for one everytime but not yet :) )

There's not a whole lot you can do about the swelling, but try to keep off your feet as much as possible, drink lots of water and keep the salt intake low. You look adorable!!!
