People did you date? I went on MANY dates with ONE person, Trevor :)

Books did you read? I don't read as much as I'd like. Maybe 2.

People were living with you? None, but we were living in a friend's basement for a while.

Animals were living with you? I wish! Can't wait to have a puppy!!

What was your ...

Favorite movie? That's hard... I LOVED Marley & Me.

Favorite concert? Youmean ONLY concert? Loved Jack Johnson!!

Worst experience? Thinking I was being laid off twice! Stress stress...

Happiest moment? Finding out I am pregnant (I had been told it would never happen)

Biggest change? Learning to save more $$.

Biggest surprise? Baby in my belly :)

Break a bad habit? Not drinking enough water was one of my bad habits

Start a relationship? With my baby, yes.

End a relationship? A couple of "friendships"...

Change jobs? Yes, within the same company, twice.

Change living situations? Yes, once.

Lose a loved one? Yes.

Start a new hobby? I started scrapbooking but it's on hold for now.

Have an addition to the family? Yes, she'll be officially here in March :)

Get married? No but celebrated our 2 years anniversary.

Get divorced? Heck no!

A Christmas Tag :)

1. Wrapping paper or gift bags? Whatever the dollar store has.

2. Real tree or Artificial? I've never a Christmas tree, let alone a real one. I think they're pretty but we were given a fake one by Trevor's mom. It's pretty too!

3. When do you put up the tree? So far the first Sunday of December. We don't skip Thanksgiving, people! :)

4. Do you like eggnog? I think it's gross!

5. Favorite gift received as a child? A Barbie. We usually got clothes for the next year of school so getting a toy was fun.

6. Hardest person to buy for? I try not to make Christmas about gifts, I like making and mailing cards or small things.

7. Easiest person to buy for? Trevor cuz he is like me, not into buying gifts this season.

8. Do you have a nativity scene? No but I want one, or a statue of Christ.

9. Mail or email Christmas cards? Mail to family and closer friends, email to acquaintances.

10. Worst Christmas gift you ever received? Again, my Christmas is not about gifts so... can't answer that.

11. Favorite Christmas Movie? I think the serious ones are too depressing and the goofy ones are too goofy... don't have a favorite.

12. When do you start shopping? I don't.

13. Have you ever recycled a Christmas present? And wedding gifts too :)

14. Favorite thing to eat at Christmas? In Brazil, salpicao. Here, my mother-in-law's pretzel jello salad.

15. Lights on the tree? They are colored but I wish they were just white or beige. it's cute anyway.

16. Favorite Christmas song? Oh Holy Night by Josh Groban.

17. Travel at Christmas or stay home? I wish I could travel but... stay home we will :)

18. Can you name all of Santa's reindeer's? ha ha, no.

19. Angel on the tree top or a star? I got a star cuz I couldn't find an angel I liked.

20. Open the presents Christmas Eve or morning? Trevor's family opens them on Christmas morning.

21. Most annoying thing about this time of the year? How it's all about the gifts for most people and how we tend to forget those who can't celebrate like we can, we need to concentrate more in Christ and do more service!

22. Favorite ornament theme or color? I don't know what this question means...

23. Favorite for Christmas dinner? I am blessed to HAVE a Christmas dinner, so anything is welcome :)

24. What do you want for Christmas this year? I just want to be able to concentrate in Christ and find ways to do service.

Too Many Tags, Too Little Time

3. I don't like washing my hair. Sorry, but if you had my hair - or my MAINE as I like to call it - you'd feel the same.

4. I check my facebook at work. And my blog, and emails. But then again, who doesn't???

5. I can't cook. I get by with about 4 recipes and do them over and over. And that includes desserts.

6. I wish church was at 1pm. I really do. I am much more faithful after I have slept in :)

Ressurrected by a Tag!

For almost a week I have been thinking about something cool to blog about and then Ellie tagged me so here it goes:

What I was doing...
10 years ago:
In 1998 I was preparing my mission papers. I sent them in June and went to Portugal visit the family and while I was there I received my mission call and returned to Brazil in August, entered the São Paulo MTC in September and served in the Brazil Curitiba Mission till February 2000.

5 years ago:
In 2003 I was done taking my masters degree credits and was starting to focus on the thesis. I was teaching Dama in the Classroom and Introduction to Theatre at BYU, Brazilian dance to the Young Amabassadors and life was good. I *really* miss teaching!

1 year ago:
I was already working here at TNI but in the call center. Trevor and some friends threw me a little surprise bday party and we had my favorate cake: ice cream cake from Baskin Robins. We were living in a TINY studio apartment and were planning our trip to visit my family in Portugal.

Yesterday:
I was picked up to watch my friends Camilla's and Renatha's sons while Camilla was in labor. I got to her house around 2am and baby Daniel was finally born around 9am. I went home around 10am, took a nap, came to work at noon. Visited Camilla and baby Daniel after work and went to the gym, where I watched So You Think You Can Dance on the treadmile. Yes, I am sore today!

What I’d do with 100 million dollars:
I would make sure all my family and friends (in Brazil, Portugal, USA, etc) have a house, education, clothing, food, employment, health care and a vacation anywhere they want. Then I would start my theatre company.

My mom's house in Portugal
My grandma's house in Brazil
Not run away to but I'd love to visit: all Europe, all Asia, Alaska and Australia

5 bad habits and/or pet peeves I have:
People who talk and talk when they're in a classroom or any setting where they SHOULD be QUIET!
People who feed their kids in church just so they'll be quiet but don't realize their children are getting OBESE!
People break the law willingly, especially those who abuse the welfare system
People who drive 10 or more miles UNDER the speed limit
People who need professional help but don't get any.
My bad habits are: I don't drink enough water, I like to sleep in and often get late to work, I like to go to bed late therefore I sleep in and get late to work, I procrastinate, I like expensive stuff way too much.

I really don't know what I would never wear. I am married and I am into theatre... Hmmmm... Am I bad? :)
